Making an Album
Want to make on an album? Great! Let’s jump right into it.
Here’s a quick rundown on how the process works.
Contract and Deposit
If the album wasn’t included as part of your wedding coverage, the first step is to sign the contract and make a $550 deposit. To initiate the process, just email Eva at firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know that you’re ready to move ahead and we can send you an online confirmation form that will include a contract that can be digitally signed. At this stage we also need to make a choice on album size, since that will affect the design.
Most first drafts range from 30 to 40 pages. After you’ve seen your first draft, you’ll have a chance to do revisions. While it’s not uncommon for a client to give the thumbs up right from the first draft, we are definitely happy to collaborate and incorporate any changes that you might have in mind. Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included with the price of the album. If you’d like to make any other revisions, we can do additional design work at $80/hour. During this stage, we can also add or subtract entire spreads. This is also a great time to start thinking about cover materials.

The final album balance is calculated as a factor of the number of spreads, the size of the album and the cover material. As soon as you’ve given a final confirmation on the design, we’ll send along a bill for the balance. When we’ve received that we’ll get things along to our binder.
Our printer hand makes the albums, and they can usually turn it around in about 6-8 weeks. We have it shipped to us so we can do a quick quality control check to make sure everything is looking great. We use FedEx and we’ll ship to the US address that you entered when signing the online contract.
